Moderate performance rocker.
Clearly a fast turning board.
This could be ridden in higher volumes.

Noel Salas had to wait weeks for the right conditions to test the Ghost. He has some interesting tips on fins.

"The JS Blak Box 3 is very easy to surf and I highly recommend it for upper end Beginner/ Intermediate / and Expert level surfers for 1-5' surf."

The Schooner is a high volume performance board. The refined tail allows for more foam in the chest region. If you have witnessed Mikey Wright take-off in solid waves, this board makes a lot of sense. This board can be ridden a couple of litres more volume than usual and can be a couple of inches shorter and still handle like a step up.

Noel Salas discusses the "FRK" with Dann Mann. In a visit to Surfboard Empire on the Gold Coast recently the shop guy was raving about this board. Definitely a board for punchy beach breaks, something the Goldy has in spades.

We have a 6' 2" Sci-Fi currently for sale on the Gold Coast This is the earlier version to the board reviewed here.
